Donations  

  • Are my donations tax deductible or not?

    You can find out if your donation was ‘tax deductible’ by contacting the:

    1.) Non-profit Organization you donated to directly. 

    2.) Individual responsible for the page you donated to.

    If you need help finding an organization's or an individual's contact information let us know because we'd be happy to assist. Although your entire contribution may be tax deductible, every tax situation is different, so we recommend that you consult a tax professional.

     

  • Can donors contribute anonymously?

    Yes, if you wish to give anonymously please follow the instructions below:

    1. Click the DONATE NOW button on the campaign page.  
    2. Select "contribute anonymously" found on the donation form.
     

    *Note: The anonymous option hides your personal information publicly on the campaign wall; however, your information will still be visible to the campaign owner.
     

  • Can I add a special message to my donation?

    Yes! To add a special message:

    1.Click the DONATE NOW button on the campaign page.
    2.Fill in all your information and at the bottom, add your special message:

     

  • Can I receive the donations raised from my site within 24 hours?
    The disbursing of funds cannot happen within a day of receipt because of the IRS and legal requirements around fundraising entities t, our credit card processor and your bank are obligated to follow and verify.


    Does you charge fees for offline donations?
    Prior to or during your active campaign you may be receiving checks and cash offline. You will not be charged any processing fees for offline donations entered manually on your campaign page.

  • How do I add a profile image?
    You can add in your profile image on your campaign, or the logo of your organization. To add a profile image in your account:

    1. Log in . 

    2.Click the “Account” drop-down in the upper right-hand corner (where your name appears)

     3.Click “Account Settings”

    4. Click on the edit image button and click Upload Image, select the image you would want to have on your profile from your library.

    5. Click on "Save" to save your changes.

     
  • How do I change my email address?
    To change your email address: 

    1.Log in. 

     2.Click the “Account” drop-down in the upper right-hand corner (where your name appears)

     3.Click “Account Settings”

     4.Change your email address

     5.Click the "Save" button to save your changes.

    Note: You can only use an email address that is not currently registered to an active account


       

  • What do I do if I forgot my password?

    To retrieve your password:

    1.Click "Sign in" 

    2.Enter your email address into the box

    3.Click "Forgot password"

    4.We will send you an email with a link to reset your password. 

    5. On the reset password email, click on the link 'Click here to change your password

    6.Enter your new password and confirm your new password to change your password
