Help Send Sweet Kona to Board & Train!

It’s the news that many of us were hoping, wishing, and praying for – Kona has been accepted into Julie Kay Locke’s Board & Train program at Rancho Mondo K9! Rancho Mondo K9 is located on 5 acres in Leander, TX, and is the perfect setting for Kona to have round-the-clock training. Julie will customize a training plan for Kona which will include working on Kona’s biggest issue – meeting new people. Kona loves people, but needs slow, controlled introductions or she becomes overwhelmed. If you follow Julie on Facebook, you know that she takes the dogs in this program to various locations to provide them with real-life situations. She will also post Kona’s videos and progress on as many channels as possible, so that at the end of her program, Kona will hopefully have some potential adopters lined up. Since Kona’s current foster, David Loignon, has to work out of state for two months, Kona will stay with Julie for that duration. Friends of AAC has already offered to pay for a portion of the program cost, and volunteers have also raised some preliminary funds. That leaves a balance of $2000 to be raised. Please donate any amount you are able. Please don’t think that $5 or $10 won’t help because IT WILL! If you are unable to donate, PLEASE share. Shares raise a lot of money and shares are free! After all that Kona has been through, this sweet senior nugget is finally getting the chance she deserves. Please consider being a part of her journey. Thank you.
